FH JOANNEUM - FHJ (Austria) is experienced in adapting higher education curricula to the needs of the industries, in the development of training materials and in internationalization. Their R&D center pays special attention to interculturality and will bring the knowledge needed for the elaboration of materials suited to the needs of the selected target group. With ca. 4.000 students, FH JOANNEUM (FHJ) is a young University of Applied Sciences. It has an international network of partner institutions in different educational sectors and within several industries. With its highly specialized degree programmes offered at university level in the areas of international business & technology, information engineering, mobility, media and design, social services and public health, FHJ is one of Austria's leading Universities of Applied Sciences. Further, FHJ already participated in a high number of EU projects as coordinator & partner. Therefore, it can rely on many years of experience and highly qualified staff when it comes to EU and company projects. The university has well developed R&D centres, which work - in cooperation with international partners - on a multitude of projects. The R&D centre of the Department of Management has extensive experience in EU projects. The activities range from Development of Training Materials, Social Media, and Internationalization through Regional Development, Entrepreneurship & Intercultural Competences to Quality Management in HE and Labour Market Policy Instruments. FHJ is also the Austrian partner for the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, the biggest study on entrepreneurship of its kind. The university has well developed R&D centre, which works - in cooperation with international partners - on a multitude of projects. The R&D centre of the department of International Management has extensive experience in EU projects. The research activities of the research centre are widespread and range from higher education standardization around the world, higher education support for developing countries, the adaptation of the higher education curricula to the needs of the industries, the development of training materials, internationalization through regional development, entrepreneurship and quality management. The R&D center of the institute of international management has already implemented a high number of EU funded project in which they acted as coordinator as well as partner.
